*Open Control Valves Start-up Mode

• Remote start: Central control center or fire alarm control panel sends a start signal to the partition control valve. The partition control valve should be able to open normally.
• Manual start: The junction box on the control valve has buttons to control the opening and closing of the electric ball valve. After connecting the line, manually press the green open button, the electric ball valve/electric stop valve can be opened; manually press the red close button, the electric ball valve/electric valve can be closed.
• Mechanical start: If there is a circuit failure, you need to use the handle to start the control valve. On the bottom or side of the electric actuator of the electric ball valve/electric stop valve, there is a rotary shaft. Turn the rotary shaft with a special wrench to open or close the electric ball valve/electric valve.

*Closed Control Valves Start-up Mode

Closed control valves are generally installed before each corresponding zone. When a fire breaks out, the glass ball breaks down and the flow switch feedbacks the signal. The main pump is activated by the central control center or the fire alarm control panel. The high pressure water can enter the protected area and discharge the fine water mist through the closed partition control valve.

Water mist fire protection systems do not use large volumes of water and because it extinguish fires very quickly, any damage caused by the fire is minimised.
